The Lord would prefer that we come to terms with each other before He has to intervene.
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.” — Matthew 18:15, ESV
Sometimes the Lord will put you through things to make you release what doesn’t promote your spiritual advancement.
You may not understand all that the Lord is telling you, but obedience will make it clear.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33, ESV
